Explanation of
the
Developing of
the New Spirituality
All beings on this planet are part of
the natural behavior of this planet.
We take part in the two big wheels:
The wheel of the Sun
The wheel of the Moon
In millions of years the human beings have seen
these Wheels as tokens of Divinity
taking responsibility for life itself.
The planet as one living organism is highly
influenced
by Sun and Moon.
In fact life is completely impossible without
Sun and Moon.
Since ancient times in all tribes and nations
the Sun has been seen as the token
of the
male element of Divinity.
The Moon has been seen by all human generations
as the female element of Divinity.
This is not all there is.
Much more can be said about Divinity,
about salvation, about After Life,
about the order of things.
The Two Wheels have always been at the basis
of the daily experience of spirituality.
The alternative spiritual world has developed
a way of shaman thinking and also of Wicca
thinking
about the Sun and Moon festivals
that more or less takes a distance to
the traditional religions of the world.
We think that much can be learned from the
religions
in this
world
by listening to each other.
As we have said on other subjects elsewhere in
Home2b.nl,
we think that some powergroups in Christianity
have ruled out certain choices for liturgy and
spirituality
without ever giving other Christian believers
the chance to correct these choices.
It is sure that in Europe alone one million
people
were killed for their choice of ancient roots
as part of their spirituality.
These were the so-called "witches".
By developing the New Spirituality
Susan and Robert want to define new ways of
liturgy
and if necessary redefining dogma and theology
to bring the spirituality
back to this planet Earth.
The wheel of the
Sun:
the Sun has been the image of the invisible
God,
creator, bringer of life,
all powerful, listening to prayers everywhere,
reachable and visible for everyone, Love.
Through the line of ancient Egypt and
Christianity
His name is known as Amen.
Daily his image is visible for everybody.
Lift up your arms to the Sun
and if you feel like it, shout your wish and
complaint.
Or just say silently your praise.
There four big feasts connected with the Sun:
Summer Solstice, start of the
holy Sun Wheel.
Fall Equinox
Winter Solstice
Spring Equinox
See our page on Solstice and Equinox Rituals
The wheel of the
Moon
13 times the Moon is full:
13 times the Moon revolves the
Earth,
making 13 months.
The powerful energy of the Goddess
is connected to the Full Moon.
The Goddess is visualized by many as
the Holy Lady standing on the Moon crescent.
In Christianity two names are given for the
Lady of the Moon:
Mary
and
Sophia
both are named Mother of God.
Mother comes from the Egyptian name Mut
Neter Mut, which means Mother of God.
The ancient Egyptian Christians gave the name
Neter Mut
to Mary and Sophia.
We know from the works of Marija
Gimbutas
that the name of the Goddess in
ancient times,
going back to 9000BC and may be even
farther back towards 300,000BC, so
before the Ice Age,
was written with M.
The language of Old Europe is not
yet translated,
all we know is the M.
Daily the Moon has a big influence on life.
We see it in the flow of the oceans: low tide,
high tide.
The Full Moon is the moment to pray,
the moment to heal and clean,
the moment to share wishes, hopes and longings.
The 13 Full Moons could be named:
Cold Moon
Frost Moon
Egg Moon
Flower Moon
Planting Moon
Silent Moon
Rain Moon
Heat Moon
Harvest Moon
Moon of
Thankfullness
Remembrance Moon
Long Night Moon
Snow Moon
or like the
Hopi names:
GREAT OR MIDWINTER MOON
EAGLE MOON
GOOSE MOON
FROG MOON
LEAVES APPEAR MOON
EGG HATCHING OR LAYING MOON
FEATHER MOULTING MOON
STARTS TO FLY MOON
BREEDING MOON
LEAVES CHANGE COLOR MOON
FALLING LEAVES MOON
FROZEN OVER MOON
SCATTERING MOON
See our Full Moon Ritual page.
We don't want to go into the
discussion
whether the calender should be
changed.
The 13 moons are spiritual moments
in time.
The measuring of time in 7 days per
week and
months according to the Roman empire
is only actual for economic reasons.
The suspicion, that the calender in
the Western world
has been changed to have a better
grip
on the erasure of the ancient
spirituality
is not really of importance.
Important is to tap into the natural
life power
of this planet and of its Divinity.
In Home2b.nl we will write down our
search
for liturgy and text to develop the
new spirituality.
This symbol is used in Home2b.nl as
the sunflower,
always directed towards the Sun,
wherever the Sun is standing in the
sky.
